Cures for Snoring
Compared to years ago when there wasn't much medical advancement, cures for snoring have improved and those who suffer from snoring have a couple of options to stop snoring.
Most common cures for snoring are through snoring surgery, snoring mouthpieces, snoring dentist, snoring throat sprays and do it yourself snoring remedies.
Before wasting money on surgery or mouthpieces here are a couple of natural cures for snoring that you should try.
Lose Weight
This is the first cure for snoring I recommend becuase it has been proven to be true. Having extra weight cuases you to snore more, losing at least 10% of your body weight can make a world of a difference. If you really want to stop snoring naturally, lose weight and see the difference.
Stop Smoking and/or Drinkin Alcoholic Beverages
This is also a biggy. If you drink alcohol or even worse smoke, you are greatly contributing to your snoring problem and even making it a health hazard.
Give Tennis a Try
Well playing tennis can help you lose weight wich helps stop snoring, but using a tennis ball helps too. Sew a tennis ball to the back of your pajama shirt. This forces you to stop sleeping on your back and get use to sleeping on your side, which is a better position to alleviate snoring.
No Pillow
Try sleeping without a pillow. Pillows can sometimes block your airway by bending your neck. You can also use special snoring pillows, but they can be a bit expensive so try sleeping without a pillow and see if that works.
So there you are, just a couple of cures for snoring you should try that are inexpensive and mostly free. If these methods fail to help you then consult your doctor and get a sleep study to discard severe sleep apnea.
